1. What does Andino International do?

Andino International is a nonprofit charitable organization that builds and supplies schools in developing nations. 100% of all donations directly fund school project costs. We believe that education is the only sustainable long term solution to poverty. We combat poverty by providing educational opportunities to poverty stricken children, in addition to alleviating the leading barriers to the access of education.Visit our about page to learn more.

2. How did the Andino International get started?

The organization was the vision of Gregg Bell. While traveling in the Andes, Gregg saw firsthand the poverty and pain inflicted on the children of the region. He also saw the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these children. Even if he was able to help just one child; he knew his efforts would be well worth it. In winter of 2009 he founded Andino International in an effort to make a difference.

3. How can I be sure you are doing what you claim?

We appreciate your interest in the Andino International. Due diligence is an important part of capital allocation, whether in the form of a donation or an investment. We seek to be 100% transparent in our goals, mission and operations. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about our organization. 4. Why should I donate to the Andino International?

By donating to the Andino International, you will be directly changing the lives or rural poverty stricken children by providing them with educational resources, healthcare and nutrition. You are empowering the world’s poor to escape the viscous cycles of poverty which can only be achieved through education. Andino International relies on the generosity of people like you to support our projects in rural areas of the world. Our innovative financing strategy ensures that 100% percent of your donation is put to work to aid those in need.

5. How do I make a reoccurring donation?

Reoccurring donations can be setup through our online donating service provider, PayPal. For your own protection, PayPal askes that you create a free account to become a reoccurring donor. This will also allow you the ability to manage your donations should you need to cancel your gift at any time.

6. How do I make a donation as a gift in honor or memory?

7. What kind of material or inkind donations do you accept?

We do not currently accept material goods sent from outside Peru. There is often limited postal systems in the regions we serve. Transport of material donations after customs, shipping and taxes is expensive and difficult given our limited operational overhead. We choose instead to support and thereby stimulate the local economy by purchasing goods and services from within the regions we work. Your generous monetary contribution will have the greatest impact. If you are visiting Peru and wish to bring material goods with you for donation, we are happy to help facilitate and see that the donation finds someone in need. Please contact us prior to your arrive so that we may make arrangements.

8. Can I donate in a currency other than US dollars?

You can donate in any currency supported by PayPal through their online credit card transaction system. The credit card company will automatically convert your gift to U.S. dollars. You may also mail us a check in other currencies; however, your gift will incur conversion fees.

9. Is my contribution tax deductible?

Yes. Andino International, Inc. is a not-for-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization and charitable donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the laws of the United States of America for all charities that have recieved recognized status. You can help us work against global poverty by visiting opportunities to give. Please note that we are only registered in the United States and any donation made outside the U.S. is NOT tax deductible.

We are inspired by the actions of others to bring about real change in the fight against child poverty and encourage groups with similar missions to continue with their efforts. Andino International’s philosophy is to focus on community based projects that we feel offer the greatest benefit to those in need within the region. Only through the efforts of many will we achieve our goal. If there are particular projects which you feel fit with your organization, please contact us to discuss collaboration.

14. Does the Andino International have a religious affiliation?

Andino International does not have any religious affiliation nor does it discriminate in its aid work or hiring activities.

15. Is the Andino International politically active?

We do not participate in activities that attempt to influence legislation or intervene in any political campaigns on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office in any nation or jurisdiction.
